Three Friends Abalone was proud to be part of a special Tasmanian dining experience at
Callington Mill Distillery in Oatlands, where a delegation of inbound buyers from China were
welcomed for a lunch hosted by State of Growth Tasmania.
The event brought together some of Tasmania’s wonderful local produce, showcasing the quality
of the island’s seafood alongside locally crafted whisky.
Guests enjoyed seared Three Friends Abalone, paired with smoked pickled octopus from T.O.P.
Fish Tas and Callington Mill’s Tasmanian single malt whisky.
Our abalone made the journey from historic Stanley on Tasmania’s north-west coast to Oatlands,
giving guests the opportunity to experience seafood sourced from the cool waters surrounding
our island.
For Three Friends Abalone, opportunities like this are about more than sharing our product. They
are a chance to showcase Tasmania’s seafood industry and the quality of produce coming from
our corner of the world to new and international audiences.
It was fantastic to see Tasmanian seafood, local producers and craftsmanship brought together
around one table, and we were delighted to have Three Friends Abalone be part of the
experience.
